This notice explains what we do with the information you give us on this website, and what we collect while you are using it. We have tried to write it in plain English rather than legal language.

When you fill in the enquiry form on this site we collect:
We use this to reply to you and to arrange a showroom visit. Our lawful basis is that it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our business.

If you press Decline, no advertising or analytics cookies are set and you can use the site and enquire exactly as normal. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which will bring the banner back.
When you submit an enquiry, we send Meta a record that an enquiry happened, so we can tell which adverts are working. This is sent from our server rather than from your browser.
It includes your email address and phone number in hashed form. Hashing turns them into a string of characters that cannot be reversed back into your details. Meta uses it only to check whether it matches an existing account, and we never see the result for an individual.
Our lawful basis for this is legitimate interest: understanding which of our adverts produce genuine enquiries so we do not waste money on advertising that does not work. If you do not want us to do this, email info@cek.online and we will stop and delete it. If you pressed Decline on the cookie banner, we do not include any of the browser identifiers that would otherwise go with it.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with other kitchen companies or marketing lists. Some of these providers process data outside the UK, in which case the transfer relies on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or an adequacy decision.
Enquiries are kept for two years from your last contact with us, because kitchen projects are often planned a long way ahead and people come back to us. After that we delete them. If you become a customer we keep records for longer, as our accountants and HMRC require.
You can ask us to give you a copy of what we hold, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. You can also object to the legitimate interest uses described above. Email info@cek.online and we will deal with it within one month, at no charge.
